Increase skills and confidence in the following areas:

    • Body position and balance

    • Operation of controls

    • Terrain awareness and trail scanning

    • Direction control

    • Pressure control

    • Timing and coordination

Establish awareness and understanding of trail etiquette.

  • All riders are required to wear a properly fitting mountain bike helmet to participate in camps of any level. Riders are also expected to provide their own well maintained mountain bike.

A full-face helmet is required for advanced camps. Recommended but not required for beginner and intermediate camps.

Riders are expected to supply their own snacks, water, and additional supplies. We recommend a backpack with straps that is intended for biking (such has a CamelBak or other similar riding pack)

Participants who sign up for one of our camps will receive an email with recommended gear prior to the first day of camp.

  • No. School of Send coaches riders from all around the PNW and don’t expect riders to all be knowledgeable about our local trail system. Coaches will help participants explore Post and establish goals for the camp/clinic/private lesson.

  • Unfortunately, we do not currently rent bikes. If you are unable to secure a bike for your camp, feel free to reach out, and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
